Bestselling, professional, aluminum telescoping pole saw - The pole saw of choice by professionals. The aluminum alloy extension poles are oval shaped, providing precise control over the direction of the blade (especially important for high cutting) and giving strength and rigidity to the pole thus reducing bending to the minimum. The base pole has a pole-end shock absorber and comfortable rubberized overgrip which ensures good hold and control. The 15-2/5-inch curved blade utilizes proprietary Silky 4-RETSUME (Four Rows of Teeth) Technology. Teeth are set in such a way that there appears to be 4 rows of them. Ideal for the toughest pruning jobs! Blade can be adjusted to two different angles for lower or higher cutting and features an upper and lower sickle. The upper sickle is used to cut vines and the lower sickle to undercut bark. Lower sickle provides a clean cut without damaging tree, while upper sickle prevents blade from slipping off limb. HAYAUCHI is the finest telescoping pole saw available on the market today. Black rigid-plastic blade cover is included. Made in Japan.

To allow effective use of HAYAUCHI pole saws, two locking systems are incorporated to assure structural rigidity of the extended poles: 1) locking pins/buttons - the primary pole locking mechanism; and 2) friction clamps - the secondary pole locking mechanism. The two systems are designed to work together. This dual locking system allows 100% of the effort at the handle to be effectively transferred to the blade up to 21 feet away. Spring-loaded locking buttons allow multiple length adjustments and safety friction clamps hold the extensions firmly in place. Safety considerations require that the pole saw user must wear a hard hat and eye protection at all times.

WAHOO!!! WOW!

I put off buying this saw for years because of the price. I have been using my 25 year old pole saw often on a ladder or in the bucket of the front end loader to trim trees on 140 acre farm. I could kick myself for not buying one sooner. Strong, light and super sharp. don't waste money on chainsaw pole trimmers, they don't reach high enough anyway.

Ten Stars

Excellent. The only problem is human error! Make sure to tighten blade and LOCK the clips! When cutting 3inch diameter or larger be carful when branch is falling, it could push the pole to the ground and it is light weight aluminum alloy that could bend and pole wont retract. It is a Must Buy.

Awesome!

This is an awesome saw! If you have trees to prune, this is a must-have item. I could barely put it down - like a kid on Christmas day.

A Saw

I have pruned thousand of trees and Palms with Stihl Ht101 pole saws, Echo pole saws as well as cheaper manual pole saws. This is by far the best saw and tool I have ever owned. It is light, Strong and will cut limbs with ease. I would recommend this saw to anyone from homeowners to commercial users. Thanks!

Sharp

I have used virtually every type of pole saw imaginable. This was the sharpest initially and stayed sharp longer, well over a year with daily use. Some earlier reviews said it would replace a power pole pruner(stihl 101). I disagree, especially if one was working with hardwood over head with multiple cuts. Off course your reach is much higher with this saw. One negative was the handle rapping started to unravel prematurely.
