New Professional Fiberglass Pole Saw TODOKU 390 19-Feet sets a new standard in the pole saw design for Utility Arboriculture! Silky’s unique high-strength oval-shaped fiberglass poles are manufactured in collaboration with Asahi Glass Co., Ltd., the company that pioneered manufacturing of fiberglass more than several decades ago and continues to be a world-wide leader in the fiberglass technology. Oval-shaped configuration of fiberglass poles provides precise control over the direction of the blade and reduces bending of connected poles to the minimum. The base pole has a pole-end shock absorber and a comfortable rubberized over-grip which ensures good hold and control.

The pole saw comes with three 6-Feet fiberglass poles (one base pole and two extension poles), blade assembly and carrying bag. Extension ranges are 7.7, 13.3 and 18.9 feet allowing maximum working heights of 11, 16 and 22 feet accordingly. The pole saw is equipped with the best-selling HAYAUCHI 15-2/5-inch curved blade that utilizes proprietary Silky 4-RETSUME Technology. Teeth are set in such a way that there appears to be 4 rows of them. Teeth configuration is 5.5 teeth per inch which is ideal for the toughest, high-volume tree pruning and line clearance works.

To allow effective connection and operation of TODOKU fiberglass poles, a unique dual locking system is designed and incorporated to assure structural rigidity of the connected poles: 1) spring-loaded locking pins/buttons - the primary pole locking mechanism; and 2) friction clamps - the secondary pole locking mechanism. Both locking mechanisms are designed to work together and thus provide 100% of the effort at the handle to be effectively transferred to the blade up to 19 feet away.
